Hi everyone and welcome to chicksplain!  We are just getting started, but here is a little bit about us and our mission:

We have over 40 years of working in the military, engineering, software, and related fields. We have worked with a diverse array of people in a diverse array of situations, and most of it has been positive.  We find that one of the major make-or-break things in an organization is communication.  We have been victims of “mansplaining” and many other types of negative communications, but this is not why we are here.

Chicksplaining is about kinder and gentler communication.  We want to talk about talking (how meta), and we are very hoping you will all chime in, because we love to listen, as well.

While we are under construction, feel free to email us and send us some ideas.  We’ll have a cool site out as soon as time permits (yeah, we have day jobs, too)
